There are several golf tour organizers out there that promise an all inclusive trip to your favourite golfing destinations, but what exactly does all-inclusive imply? Some organizers aren’t very clear on what’s included and what’s excluded in these trips. In fact, most golfers will book a trip without even realizing that the option that they need isn’t really a part of the package. That’s why it’s absolutely necessary to ensure that you understand what’s included in an all-inclusive trip. At Pattaya Golf Trips, we recommend that you consider the following.
1 – Travel Arrangements
There are some golf trip organizers that will make travel arrangements for you. The package might include air fares, airport pick-up and drop-off, and other such facilities. You should check the package details to see if this is included. In most cases, it won’t be. Golf trip organizers will assume that you’re going to book your own flights to the golfing destination. You can ask them if they would make arrangements for you if it’s not included in the package.
2 – Hotel or Resort Stay
This is almost always included in all-inclusive golf trip packages. There are plenty of golf resorts in popular golfing destinations. You get access to great courses and wouldn’t have to travel far for it. While this option is generally included in comprehensive packages, it’s a good idea to confirm before you book.
3 – Number of Games
Some all-inclusive packages don’t give you free access to the golf courses. They might say that you can play 3 times or 4 times. Some resorts will allow unlimited games if you book in advance. You should decide how much you want to pay when you reach the resort. Sometimes 3 or 4 games on one trip are more than enough. You don’t need to pay more money to get unlimited access. It’s a good idea to confirm with the golf trip organizers or the resort before you book. Make sure that you get guaranteed time on the green. It’s also a good idea to ask how long you can stay on the green.
4 – Meals
The food is another factor that you should look into. Some all-inclusive packages would only include breakfast. That would add to your overall expense and you should avoid that as much as you can. There are some packages that include all meals. These are true all-inclusive packages. Naturally, your choice of restaurants and food might be limited if you opt for such meals. They’re a good idea if you’re on a tight budget and just want to enjoy a good golfing holiday.
5 – Options
There are some tour packages that will allow you to add some things to your packages. These options include:
- Golf lessons for non-golfers
- Golf clubs and equipment on rent
- Car hires to travel to other places at the golfing destination
- Excursions to nearby tourist attractions
We always recommend that you read all inclusions in such packages carefully. This would ensure that you’re not surprised later on. You can customize the packages according to your needs and preferences. If something you want isn’t included in the all-inclusive packages, there’s no harm in asking whether they will make the arrangements for you. Most golf trip organizers will be perfectly willing to accommodate you.
