#1 Walking Street
This place is amazing to say the least; this mile long street is shut down for vehicular traffic from late evening to the early hours of the morning. It’s choc-a-bloc with restaurants, beer bars, pubs, go-go bars, nightclubs and more. Here you will get to see and experience the vibrancy and colour of Pattaya’s night life.
#2 Floating Market
Thailand has a number of floating markets, but the one situated in Pattaya is unique in many ways. Its name is actually – ‘Four Regions Floating Market’ and its segregated into 4 regions of the country – Central, South, Northeast and the North. Each of these sections sells a variety of products that are specific to that respective region. There are many floating stalls as well as boats moving around in the canals, selling different wares.
#3 Art In Paradise Gallery
This is an extraordinary art gallery filled with optical illusion displays and other clever tricks. There are 10 different sections within the building and in excess of 100 pieces of art. There is something fun for both kids and adults at this art museum.
#4 Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!
This is another museum that’s unique in every way. It is divided into 10 distinct subject areas and has more than 100 items. You can also explore the 4D Moving Theatre and Tussauds Wax Works and a number of other things to see and do.
#5 Wat Phra Khao Yai
This is also referred to as Big Buddha Hill. At 18 meters in height, the idol here is the tallest Buddha in this region. What makes the idol look even more impressive is the fact that it is positioned around 100 meters above sea level. Once you reach the summit of the hill, you can get a breathtaking view of Jomtein Beach and Pattaya city.
#6 Ziplining At Flight Of The Gibbon
This isn’t exactly in Pattaya and is situated about halfway between Bangkok and Pattaya. The place offers a fun-filled adventure experience for adults and kids alike. The 3 kms long course consists of 22 zip-lines and 2 abseiling stations. There are a number of adventure activities you can indulge in. If you have an entire day to dedicate to relaxation and fun, this is the place to visit.
#7 Learning Trip At The Elephant Village
In this village are around 30 elephants that live in a forest-like habitat, though they are actually under the care of the village. You can learn more about these majestic creatures and the kind of work they do. You can also take pictures with an elephant in ancient war costume.
#8 Pattaya Park
This park is situated at beach resort and is the city’s one and only water park. Here you can have hours of fun on a range of water slides. The park is a place where even adults find themselves letting their hair down and enjoying themselves thoroughly. You can visit the Pattaya Park Tower, which is the highest seaside tower in the area, and relish the cuisine at the revolving restaurant in Thailand.
